Hello! My name is Charly Schultz, and I’m an aspiring News Producer currently studying Media Production and Journalism at Temple University. I am passionate about sharing news with the people that need it most--making it accessible for all bringing the news to them. I thrive in high paced environments that challenge me to think critically, collaborate creatively, and bring compelling stories to life.

During my time at Temple, I’ve gained hands-on experience in newsroom leadership and production. I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Senior Staff for Temple Update, where I’ve taken on multiple roles, including Supervising Producer, Producer, Volunteer Coordinator, and Graphics Manager. One of my most exciting experiences was leading TUTV Live in Paris as Senior Producer, overseeing coverage of the Olympics through the eyes of Temple students abroad.

Beyond Temple, I’ve built my experience through internships at NBCUniversal’s NBC 10 and WPHL-17, where I developed my skills in live production, newsroom operations, and content creation. Additionally, I’ve worked as a Production Coordinator for WPHL-17 and as a Production Assistant for Hatboro-Horsham Television Network.
